Joe is a BAFTA Connect member. His latest short, A Drive at Dawn, is a dialogue-free mystery neo-western starring Eric Lampaert. The film has screened at LA Shorts, PÖFF Shorts and San Jose International Short Film Festival, alongside genre festivals including Fantaspoa, HÕFF, FilmQuest, Panic Fest and Nightmares Film Festival. It competed for the Méliès d’Argent at both Fantaspoa and HÕFF.

Alongside his work as a director, Joe has spent over a decade working professionally in editorial across film, television, commercials and music videos.

Supported by ScreenSkills awards, Joe studied Film & TV Production at University of the Arts London and later studied directing with Actors Studio founding member Jack Garfein and at UCLA Extension. A former Soho Theatre Young Writer, his earlier work includes the Channel 4 short documentary Kubrick’s Napoleon and Film London short Welcome to Neverland.

Joe is currently developing his next short, A Particularly Grim Morning, in the UK.
